Bullying prevention for Parents and Carers

Parents and carers potentially play a massive role in responding to and preventing bullying. Beatbullying seminars for parents and carers are specifically designed to equip parents and carers with an absolute sense and ability to make those all important curative interventions and responses, and to make them count.

Parents and carers will during the course of their seminar, consider and gain an understanding of the following:

• Contemporary understanding of bullying today
• As a parent, recognise what is bullying, where it happens
• Direct and indirect bullying
• Signs/symptoms/indicators
• How to deal with/support a bully
• How to deal with/support those that are bullied
• Helping students feel safe and supported
