Trustees

James Morgan (Chair of Trustees)

James became Chairman of the Board of Trustees in May 2008, having previously held the role
of Treasurer. James was introduced to Emma-Jane Cross through Coutts bank, when he attended a course focusing on asset management and philanthropy and was struck by a passionate talk given by Emma at the event.  It was this passion that moved James to become involved with the charity.

Maya Prabhu

Maya is Head of UK Philanthrophy at Coutts & Co where she advises individuals and families on their philanthropy strategy. Maya brings to her role over twelve years experience working with charities in India and the UK. Prior to joining Coutts & Co, she was a Senior Development Manager at New Philanthropy Capital. She started her career in development in 1994 with International Development Enterprises India.

Linda Klassen-Brown

Linda is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and MBA who has operated successfully as an international HR Manager, Executive HR Director, HR & Training Consultant and Project Manager. 
She has undertaken major roles and assignments in a variety of industry sectors, with
multi-national corporate, not-for-profit, public and private sector organisations in the education, health, IT, energy and legal sectors.  Linda is a business-focused leader who adds value and sustainability to an organisation through inspired talent management, effective knowledge transfer and positive culture change.  Her work in business management, legal compliance and education bring valued skills to Beatbullying, as does her considerable experience at board level as an executive director of an IT business and her current role as Vice Chair of Governors’ for Bracknell and Wokingham College.

Mattthew Mulley

Matt taught English in an orphanage in La Paz, Bolivia before going on to study at the University of Durham. After university he worked as a teaching assistant in a Greater Manchester high school. He has also been a mentor for a number of organisations working with young people from deprived backgrounds.

Matt has worked in public affairs as well as working for several MPs in the House of Commons. As parliamentary researcher and speechwriter he was responsible for policy briefing, research, parliamentary activities, constituent correspondence and writing speeches for debates and outside events. Matt now works in the political team for the United States Ambassador in London.

Fiona Fenn-Smith

Fiona is the founder of Fenn Smith Associates. A senior marketing professional with over eighteen years experience, Fiona has specialised in high net worth and wealth management industries. Specific strengths include brand management, corporate communications, sponsorship and public relations strategic advice. Prior to launching Fenn Smith Associates she was Head of Strategic Marketing at Coutts & Co. Fiona has a degree from University Wales College Cardiff and a Masters from Westminster Business School.

Stephen Nash

Stephen is a consultant to major actors in the energy sector working at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. The main focus of Stephen’s work is in addressing valuation problems, feeding into both strategic directional decisionmaking and firm investment decisions. Stephen has previously been heavily involved in setting up a charity, the Aldworth Philharmonic Orchestra, an amateur orchestra in Reading, as treasurer. Whilst only operating within one region, the organisation is recognised as being highly innovative both in its engagement with stakeholders and in its identification of new stakeholders. More recently Stephen has taken up a school governor position at a local primary school in Berkshire.
