Over 4000 young people have now applied to Beatbullying in the hope of becoming a volunteer on the CyberMentors programme. These are young people who have applied online, because they don't have the programme in their schools. This would seem to effectively dispel the notion that our young people aren't interested in volunteering or doing anything for their communities! Currently there are 2911 young people volunteering as CyberMentors and the latest application figures show that wanting to help your peers is clearly popular with our young people.
