This training is for young people aged 11-18 and consists of exercises, group work, games, role play and discussion around bullying and cyberbullying. Day 1 focuses on what bullying is, confidentiality, boundaries, child protection and skills needed for mentoring, and day 2 is all about online mentoring and learning how to use the website.
The young people graduate with a certificate, a badge, business cards, a handbook, and the skills to communicate well, work in a team, stay safe and mentor both on and offline.
Similar to the 2 day CyberMentor training, this training is more compact for those young people who have previous peer mentoring experience. They are trained to mentor others online as well as brushing up on their mentoring skills.
Senior CyberMentors aged 18-25 mentor online but also support the younger CyberMentors. This training is all about online mentoring and how to assist and support others.
We offer training to professionals working with young people on how the CyberMentors programme works, e-safety and bullying in general.
Similar to the professionals' training, this training helps parents understand how better to communicate with their children and help them stay safe while enjoying the internet.
We also offer other bespoke training courses for young people, professionals, and teachers including bullying, e-safety and mentoring. Please get in touch and have a chat with us about what you are interested in.
