The FutureYou programme is an innovative adaption of the award-winning CyberMentors programme, providing both on and offline mentoring for 14-25 year olds who are moving into education, employment or training (NEETs). FutureYou uses a safe social networking model to support excluded and vulnerable young people with trained mentors, counsellors and advisors, who guide and support disengaged young people and signpost them to specialist help and services where needed.

FutureYou Mentors are trained young people from across the UK, which gives them the opportunity to develop and use soft skills to support their peers. As well as having access to support from FutureYou Mentors, Advisors and Counsellors for their own needs, they can also refer on young people if they feel that their mentee needs more support. By helping other young people who may be in the same or similar circumstances, FutureYou Mentors have the opportunity to make a real difference, which has a significant and positive effect on the well-being, confidence, soft skills, life chances and aspirations of the mentors themselves and those being mentored.
