Therapeutic Services

Beatbullying's Therapeutic Services team consists of highly-trained counsellors and practice staff who are dedicated to the well-being and safety of all the young people we work with both online and offline. All counsellors are qualified at PG Diploma level and registered with the BACP or equivalent.  The BACP is recognised to be at the forefront of innovation and professionalism in the field of psychological therapies.

The team provide therapeutic support across all programmes both practically on the ground, and intellectually, with the development of research and theoretical literature. Our absolute aim is to support all young people with a range of personal difficulties including bullying and general mental health issues in confidence. All counsellors work with the hope and vision to help enable change and growth in young people's self esteem and their sense of self.

Counselling and the CyberMentors programme

Counselling support is offered to children, young people and schools nationwide. Once CyberMentors have been trained in a school or group, each group will receive two counselling supervisions per academic year after training. This to help support and carefully supervise their progress and to explore their experiences online and with face to face mentoring. Counsellors are also available for CyberMentors and Senior CyberMentors to talk anytime online.

Beatbullying counsellors help many young people affected by bullying and other mental health issues on a daily basis and are there to support young people on the CyberMentors website online from 8:00am-2:00am, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
