Running Places Available for 2010

The Bupa London 10,000 on Bank Holiday Monday, 31st May 2010 is presented by the London Marathon and is run on the course likely to be used for the 2012 Olympic Marathons.

This 10km run starts and finishes in St. James's Park, and runners pass many of London's famous sights, including Westminster Abbey, The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, The London Eye, Cleopatra's Needle, Tate Gallery, Millennium Bridge, The Monument, The Bank of England, Mansion House, St. Paul's Cathedral, Nelson's Column and Admiralty Arch. Buckingham Palace acts as the backdrop to the start and finish.

The Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday, 10th October 2010 starts and ends in Hyde Park and runners race through the four Royal Parks, taking in superb views of Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the London Eye, Marble Arch and the Royal Albert Hall.  There will be a Food and Fitness festival taking place at the finish line so it is a great day out for all your friends and family.

For both events, we ask for a £50 registration fee and a minimum sponsorship commitment of £400.

More running events!

Got your own place?  If you’d like to run a race that we don’t have charity places for and would like to raise money for BB you can register as an ‘own place’ runner.  You can visit the event website and register. Then email rebecca.davies@beatbullying.org to let us know that you have chosen to run for us. We can then send you a runner’s pack and give you support on your fundraising and training.
