Schools fundraising for Beatbullying

Schools across the country have raised thousands of pounds for Beatbullying, many of them young people that we have worked with.  We are hugely grateful to all the children and teachers who have been involved, and all the imaginative and fun ways they have helped us:

  • A huge thank you to Mill Hill School in London for raising a whopping £1031.46 for BB!  The school ran a non-uniform day with a “blue” theme as part of ongoing initiatives lead by the Pupil Council and the Anti-Bullying and Members Council.  Thank you Mill Hill!
  • Horbury School in Wakefield raised a phenomenal £1000
  • Tudor Grange School in Solihull raised £60 selling anti-bullying wristbands
  • Deben High School in Felixstowe raised £135 for us by holding a Quiz
  • Stafford Junior School in Eastbourne ran a series of sponsored events and raised an amazing £693.557

Are you able to raise funds for us at your school? Maybe you could...

Hold a school disco. Staff and pupils can get involved in arranging the disco and in decorating the school hall. Charging a ticket fee in order to get in is one of the easiest ways to raise money quickly. You can also sell food, drinks, sweets, hot dogs etc at a reasonable price.

Have an art show where the kids charge parents and other supporters entry to their art gallery for the evening. Selling drinks and food here is also a great way to make some extra cash and the children get to see how their art is appreciated by others.

Dress down days are always popular, but why not have a dress in blue day! Get each kid to donate a set fee and they can come to school dressed in any outfit they like.

You can set up a school fundraising page at www.justgiving.com/beatbullying/raisemoney and encourage parents to donate to Beatbullying.
