Apprenticeships

If you’re aged 16-24, not in full time education, and interested in working in the charity sector, then a BB Apprenticeship could be for you.

BB Apprenticeships are high quality, on the job training programmes that lead to nationally recognised qualifications.  They are a great way for you to earn a weekly wage whilst studying for qualifications, learning about working for a charity and with young people, and generally gaining the right skills to make a difference to people and their communities.

You’ll work for Beatbullying, earn a weekly wage, and mix that in with studying for a qualification such as an NVQ level 2 or 3 in a subject relevant to your role here, a Key Skills qualification or a technical certificate.

Sound good?

An apprenticeship is a long term commitment – they usually last between 1-3 years, depending on you, the level of apprenticeship and the training course you take.

You’ll need a good idea of where you want to go with your career, and be pretty determined to succeed.  You’ll also need to be able to juggle working for Beatbullying whilst also studying for a qualification (maybe at a college).

Beatbullying offers apprenticeships in the following departments.  For each one, we will match the job with a suitable apprenticeship training qualification, such as Youth Work (practice), New Media (design and web development), Marketing and Communications (fundraising or communications), or Accountancy (finance).

  • Practice – all of our programmes working with young people (BBMusic, BBSports, CyberMentors, MiniMentors, ReSync)
  • Therapeutic Services
  • Volunteering
  • Finance
  • Fundraising
  • Communications
  • New Media
  • Operations
  • Policy and Research
