A Photographer in Residence: Katie Rutt

Katie Rutt is a young photographer currently studying Contemporary Photographic Practice at the University for The Creative Arts in Rochester.

Katie approached Beatbullying in March 2011 to see how she could get involved on a voluntary basis. After initial discussions, we worked up the idea of Katie doing a volunteer internship as a Photographer in Residence, documenting Beatbullying's activities from workshops and trainings with young people to meetings with ad agencies and funders over the spring and summer.

Katie's photographs will appear periodically on this website; they are under copyright so please do not download or reproduce any of her work without prior permission.

At the end of the internship, Katie is aiming to hold an exhibition of her work documenting her time with Beatbullying in central London.
