Bullying prevents young people from reaching their full potential. Bullying stops young people from being happy. It stops them from wanting to go to school, it makes them question their abilities, and it often makes them want to change who they are. Their ability to learn, to contribute, to be happy and just be a child, is undermined and sometimes lost forever by bullying.
Beatbullying believes that bullying contradicts the basic British values of fair play, social justice, aspiration, opportunity and respect - it is something the whole nation must act collectively to eradicate, so we can really support the millions of young people who lie in bed at night terrified to go to school the next morning.
Our aspiration is to create a world where bullying is unacceptable.
